Important Information For Snowdrop Energy Customers

Snowdrop Energy have recently transferred all their customers over to us at Nabuh Energy due to increased wholesale market prices.  The emphasis has always been to ensure that customers are protected throughout the winter, and we want to reach out and reassure customers that this is also one of our priorities.

Any existing Snowdrop customers will have their supply carry on as normal and their credit balance will be safe.  The switch to us is taking place automatically and will be completed around the 10th Novemeber 2018.  Once the switch is complete, you are free to stay with ourselves or switch to another supply without any exit fees.

The Good News

  • Your energy supply will continue, uninterrupted. You will not be cut off.
    • Any money and credit balance on your Snowdrop account is safe and will be transferred to us.
    • Your tariff and direct debit will remain the same.

Your Tariff

The unit rates and standing charges you pay will remain the same. If you’re on a fixed tariff, your rate will remain the same until the end of your fixed term, at which point we will notify you of your options. If you’re on a variable tariff, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice of any change to your tariff or rates.

Your Direct Debit

Your Direct Debit with Snowdrop will be moved over to us, so there’s no need to cancel it. If you already have, don’t worry, we can help you set up a new one.

Can I switch to another supplier?

Yes. Your switch to us will be completed around 10th November. We will email you at this point to let you know your switch has been successful. From then on, you’ll be free to switch to another supplier without any exit fees.

If you do try to switch before this email confirmation, the switch will unfortunately fail as you can’t do two switches at the same time. Ourselves and Snowdrop are working hard to minimise this period. 

Just moved in?

If you’ve just moved into your property, please contact us as soon as you can on 0330 0414 902 to ensure that your energy account is set up correctly. 

Are Ofgem aware of this transfer?

Yes. On behalf of Ofgem: “We are aware of the purchase of Snowdrop Energy’s customers by Nabuh Energy. Ofgem scrutinises any commercial transfer of customers to ensure that the deal does not cause detriment to the customers, including by ensuring credit balances will be honoured.

“If we were not convinced the deal is in customers’ best interest, we would intervene to prevent the sale.“
