A change in the way Prepayment customers top up

From May 1st 2020 prepayment customers will no longer be able to top up their gas and electric at Payzone retailers. We have not taken this decision to move away from Payzone lightly and have taken into consideration the number of retailers and customers who currently use this service.

Alternatively to Payzone, all our prepayment customers will be able to top up as normal with PayPoint. PayPoint currently have over 28,000 retailers across the UK, this means you are approximately only ever one mile from your nearest top up location!

Ways to top up

  • Top up online – If you do currently have SMART meters, you can top up online, via our mobile app, or over the phone using our dedicated automated top up line.
